Well, it seems I jumped the gun a little on this one.

He's just died icon_cry.gif . He did go a little downhill yesterday, not sure why, as he seemed to be getting better.

Maybe he was just too far gone to make it back.

Most upsetting. Thanks for everything anyway folks.

oh my...i hadnt been on the forums in a bit and didnt notice this one till just now, and honestly, i feel for you. im so very sorry to hear about this. and you have my condolences.

The missus rang me at work to say he'd died, so I posted the previous post before then. When I got home, I noticed on closer inspection, he appears to have a broken spine.

Would it be possible that he had a fit or something, and simply damaged himself ?

He was ok when I left for work, and the missus assures me she didn't pick him up or anything, but he does have a massive lump just behind the base of the neck, right on the spine, and it feels like a solid bony lump. His body also appears twisted too. It does look like he was trying to defaecate too, as he has loads of crap around the vent area.
