this is caspers new cage its 4 by 2 by 2 what do you think of it also i need help to heat the bottom of the cage, but dont know how to heat it up because its made out of wood.
Im not sure if you can do this with tegus but for my waterdragon cage i used one of them under the tank heaters but since the cage is made from 3/4 inch plywood i put the heater between two pieces of ceramic tile(cant spell it) and it works really well. But still im not sure if this will work for tegus.
Good luck.

The Plywood that you are using is Going to Warp under the extreme heat and humidity that you will need to supply for a healty tegu. I know casue I had used plywood for a Temporary lid for my Waterdragons. and within 3day the Wood started bending so I had to get Melamine Board.
