Well here is a pic of my female Kim. She is an okay tegu, I really miss my male though icon_sad.gif She is munching on some greens with chicken broth. She recently woke up from a nice long nap.

What are the greens you feed her? I have never fed mine and greens and I would like to start. Are they dandelion greens? WHat is the mixture you use?

Well I could only give you a guess as to the mixture. I work at a health food store that juices greens for customers, so I just asked the girl who was working the juice bar to give me all of the pulp left from the juicer. I believe this mixture was carrots, beets, dyno kale and dandelions.

Adding chicken broth to the greens is a very clever idea. Tegus are like kids, won't eat it if they know it's good for 'em.

Exactly, she looked at me funny when I put the greens in there without the chicken broth.

Its weird, lately my tegu has developed an interest in my beardeds greens...wont touch the fruit that he used to like, but the things like the tatsoi, endive, raddichio and escarole he has been picking at. I dont mind at all, as these are far better for him, but it is surprising...
