Hi everyone just a couple of pictures of our new Tegu. As yet we don't have a name for him/her - waiting to find out which sex we have.

So far not too bad temperament wise. It did try a bite when I first took it out of the bag so as I held it I gently rubbed the top of its head till it calmed down. Other than that it just gives the open mouth with a bit of attitude. But this guy is fast, none of my snakes move that fast.

Beautifully colored. I havent seen a gold that was such nicely colored before.
