Hello all, Just dropping by to hopefully lean a few tricks of the trade from some seasoned breeders and keepers
I work at New England Reptile Distributors, I keep lots of snakes (boas, bloods, retics and a few balls) among other non-reptile pets.
I have a pair of adult blue tegus that I'm hoping to breed. Im also hoping that someone, somewhere, is working on giving blue tegus their own scientific classification! Who knows, maybe I'll do it someday!

Welcome to The Tegu Community @ thetegu.com
Good luck with the breeding project. Keep us posted on the results. As far as the scientific name; that would be great, but latin names are hard enough to pronounce already.. I'd hate to have to remember.. "Tupinambis fruitbatjellybeanus" lol
