Yea - streched out he's about 40 inches and has not yet hit 9 months old yet - He's already in a 8x3 - might need a 10 footer for him lol, but he's very calm and cool icon_wink.gif

I'm inspired, I'll have to measure my boy tomorrow, he's also an 05 hatchling and is probably in the same size area

Mine seems to have gotten darker with age as well as the white getting whiter - I think there is a variation in males vs. females, with the males being more brilliant colored and the females more dull - or vice versa - it's early lol - That Boamaster enclosure cost a chunk of change, however It is a very nice, well built enclosure - I like it...

Teiidae, Great looking tegu! She is a dark looking girl. I would like to say I have one dark female, and one lighter one. The females I have are just as brilliant as my male after they shed. The stock these are out of have some real dark males as well as females. So it would depend on the parents and grandparents as to the appearance of the offspring. I will say the dark ones are more rare to find though. Most Argentine tegus are not as dark as her. She is awesome!!

Actually I need to fix my sig - The one I got from Rick was probed as male so I can only go by that at this point - The other one I picked up in December at only about 2.5 feet - Although the head and body were large, she lacked in length IMO with no visual cloacal spurs - Maybe just a late bloomer as she is up to about 40 inches as well now - It was up until "She" everted "her" hemipenes, that led me to believe "she" is a "he" - That being said I am led to believe that I have 2 males...
