Crimson has got to be the goofiest tegu ever. the other night he found a small box on the floor and stuck his head in it and ripped out the other side just for the hell of it. than later on i caught him with my daughter little toy rubber lizard. he has nudging it like to see if it was alive. when i looked at the toy lizard later there were teeth marks on t and a piece of tail was missing... he was eating a rubber lizard. luckily i caught him in time or i may have had an emergency vet trip.
here is a picture of him putting my shoe on his head and walking around, he does this every time he sees my shoe

my lizard tries to eat marbles when he hits them it makes them roll across the floor so anything small and round i have to make sure it's cleaned up or else.... He also lets himself out of his tank if it's not locked he can push the screen door up and he jumps onto the floor (I hate when he does this) (He is not a graceful lander) I can't think of anything else weird.....oh yeah if you put him on the floor with grapes scattered around he will eat the grapes but not if they are in his food dish. (hes a columbian) I think he likes loud music or it doesn't seem to bother him like my friends lizard.

yeah hes a crackhead. he thinks my daughter plastic golf balls are food and chases them if i leave one out by mistake. thats fun to wressle away lol.

he did learn an odd new trick though. he almost never gets eggs. but i gave him a raw one one day for a snack and instead of busting it open and licking it up. he leaned his head back and busted it in his mouth and all of ran right down his throat with out a single drop on the floor it was pretty cool

Mine's a bit eccentric too. I let him roam free in my room sometimes and when I come home, he'll come out and put his head on my shoe and just sit there until he gets attention.

That's funny icon_biggrin.gif I gave my lizard a whole extra large egg once and he picked it up and carried it across the room. It was so funny he had his mouth opened as far as it would go. The egg was like twice the size of his head. icon_biggrin.gif He looked rediculous! Also once i put some raw egg in a syringe w/o the needle and he will jump straight up in the air to try and get it(More funny) L8R
