I've been breeding rats for a while, and now since I got my Tegu, I need different sizes. I was wondering if I could remove part of a litter so I can have pinkies and then get some to grow up. Will the MOM reject the ones I'll leave in there?

I've removed pinkie mice from the litter for treats for my Ameiva's, and the mom"s" have always still taken care of the rest of the litter as if nothing happened - I don't touch the babies by hand though until they are around 2 weeks old - I pluck the pinkies out with tweezers... _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"
