One of my females has been looking like she was gonna pop for a week now, but just seemed to keep getting bigger - Today she had 18 babies, although one was deformed and off to the side - The dad was cleaning it but it was already dead - The surrogate has been helping mom all day with all the mouths to feed...
What's the biggest litter some of you have received ?

Surprisingly this was her 1st litter as well - she helped the other roommate mom last time with her litter and vice versa this time, as well as the male helping out - this group seems to work out well... _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"

Nope - Me and the better half did a recount and both came up with 17 again - I see what you are saying though in the pic - but that head belongs to one of the bodies there - It's hard to count them when they're all bunched up together _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"

18 is the biggest litter I have ever had. One of my first 2 female rats I acquired gave me that many in her 3rd litter. I have had any that size since. They are usually around 8 to 10 lately.
