I fed my tegu 3 grapes this morning. AFterwards, when he was using the bathroom, he vomited a clear water or saliva that was neither colored nor foamy.

As I was writing this post, I thought I heard my tegu sneeze, which is rare, but I am doubly worried about it right now in light of the fact that he did vomit for the first time to my knowledge.

Some recent factors:

The temperature has recently changed from being cool at nights to hot and humid all day long. Consequently, my tegu has been more active, virile and generally rambunctious of late.

Last night I found him in the terrarium--not his terrarium mind you. He had dug up (and possibly ingested) several plants--a phylodendron, which still looks hearty and unscathed; two groundcover plants, asian jasmine and dragonsblood, the later of which was especially befouled. My tegu had buried himself in the soil. It is important to note that for my tegu to get into the terrarium in the first place, he has to leap a pretty impressive distance. I imagine that when he did make it to the lip of the terrarium, it was just barely, and probably wasn't a very graceful maneuver.

I changed my tegus bedding on Tuesday. Before I had been using bulk cypress mulch from a mega lawn & garden store, but used Eco-Terra Jungle Earth this time around. He has seemed to love it, or at least he loves the fresh bedding. He had been getting lazy about burying himself at night.

Other than that, my tegu is acting normally. It's very cloudy here today and he wasn't able to soak up much morning sun, so he's been a little lethargic when compared to the last 4-5 days when he's spent a few hours basking every morning before scooting around.

If anybody has any knowledge or advice to drop on me, please do.
