as i wrote, yesterday my tegu ate a wild snake that manage to get in her cage..... should i be worried about it?

How did a wild snake get into your Tegu's cage - Is it kept outside ? - I would be somewhat concerned as to perhaps toxins the snake May be carrying, along with all the other nasties that come along with wild animals...

Depending upon the species it ate, I would be most worried about parasites and toxins, I would get a fecal run asap.

yes, the cage it's outside,probably the snake got caught from my cat, and when he got bored with it she tried to escape from the garden.. the snake was a little natrix natrix

and was about 15 inches and got through the chicken wire right in my tegus mouth!
i'll do the fecal asap and let you know
