First off my name is Anthony. I had two Tegus way back in high school, I'm now 31 years old. I had a White and Black and Gold and Black. The W/B was very friendly, but the G/B was an ass. Not sure of if they were Argentinas or Columbians.

Anyways, I had to get rid of them to attend college. Now I'm wishing I would have kept them and learned more about them.

So here I am lurking in the shadows trying to learn what I can before acquiring another Tegu.

Question one, what do the Numbers mean in your sigs. example 1.0.1 ?

Question two, is it better to get a full grown Tegu or raise one. Are they like a dogs and get attached to a certain person?

Thanks for entertaining my questions.

Anthony

P.S. I'm sure I'll have more ?'s as the time grows near to purchase one, so bare with me.

Welcome to theTegu.

1) Male.Female.Unknown

2) I think it would be best to start out with a hatchling, although some adults are really mellow as well. Argentines would be your best bet as well if you are looking for a more people friendly Tegu...
