Wow, thats a beautiful looking iguana. I've wanted one ever since I was little, but I can't afford it right now. I have to work on getting my tegu in an adult sized enclosure before I think about buying an iguana. How old/big is he? Does that chain link fence stop him from escaping the yard? _________________ Visit www.reptileontario.com

Thanks for the compliments! He's my baby! I got him as a hatchling 6 years ago. I knew NOTHING about iguanas. The pet store told me he was a vegetarian so I gave him vegetable soup complete with hamburger meat ugh! I don't know how he survived his first month with me! He is 5' long and weighs about 11 pounds. He is very friendly. He can go over the chainlink fence but typically doesn't. When I was taking those pictures the other day, I was laying out in the sun. At one point he decided he wanted some one on one time with his mom (me) and climbed up on top of me and blocked my sun! The moron! LOL He will soon have two brothers. Argentine Black and White Tegus and I can not wait till they are big like Eegads! I hope they will all be able to free roam the yard together some day but I am not getting my hopes up. _________________ Kris, Herps they're not just a hobby, they're a way of life!

Lucky! My dream set up is 1 male iguana, 1 male argentine black and white tegu, and 1 female jungle carpet python. Now, of course I'm not limiting myself to only these select few... I'm 1/3 of the way there already! (Unless Koopa turns out to be a girl..) How long did it take Eegads to reach this size? _________________ Visit www.reptileontario.com
