males only tend to grow to 12ft females can grow to 18ft but ther are ecception. they tend not to grow much bigger than that in captivity. i remember when mine was that big that one you have there is a beauty. one of mine reached 12 ft my other reached 7ft and became really aggresive for no reason it bit me twice i was picking teeth out of my arm for a month. they really are amazing creatures and have to be one of my favorite snakes good luck with your new man eating friend icon_eek.gif lol

my friend has an albino berm . . . had it about 2 months old, 2 years and shes 12 feet . . . . he just picked her up a vision cage for $175. good thing she got huge fast but atleast shell be in it for a couple years
