Does anyone know how to clean/disinfect live plants in a frog cage to be used in a different species of frog's cage?

A mixture of mild dish soap/water. Can you take the plants out of cage #1 and not put them in cage #2 for a few days? That would be best. Mild dish soap is ok to use on them. Other than that, not sure.

Yeah! I could. i'm sure I can find a jar or something i can stick the roots in. they are semi-aquatic plants. Besides, the tank will be out of commission for a few days anyway, I have to bleach it then reseal it.

so I just rinse them in the soapy water, then rinse that off?

Well, I am not certain the dish soap will kill nasties that you don't want to transfer between tanks but I do know it will clean them LOL Kind of a catch 22. I know the dish soap method to be safe because it is actually used for killing a certain kind of bug that plants get. Aphids, I think. Not sure what else you could use to actually kill nasties tho.
