Heres my new Arg. B&W Tegu

Right now he/she is in a 100 gallon reptarium, with two basking spots, another light to control the ambient air temperature, a biiiig water bowl, two large half logs, a food dish, and tomorrow I am picking up cypress for substrate (i believe that is what I read for the best.)

Let me know what you think

PS - I will get more pictures of him/her when I can

nice looking tegu.. i use a mix of cypress mulch and top soil. it holds humidity well and i sift the cypress mulch. i don't know if anyone else does that. i found that it has little pieces of wood that can be ingested....he wasn't used to it i guess. when i first got my tegu he started sneezing the next day i took him to the vet but i realized it was the mulch. he is doing great and has good sheds. i hope this helps if anything.. congratulations on your new tegu.. icon_biggrin.gif
