this is a great story for all forums that feed rodents...I have to say I know at least two tegu enthusiasts that still feed live. When I try to talk them down fromt hat way of thinking I always come up short--this thread will illustrate the reasons why.

I know that Ratwatchers diet also works for humans. Everytime I see the tray full of thawing rodents to feed my gang...I lose my appetite. lol

Louise i would just like to commend you on ur wonderful story and ur wonderful care of this beautiful snake u are truley a lover of reptiles and i bow to you u set an example for all herpers everywhere to follow and chance is a very beautiful snake someday i hope to have a redtail just like her. good luck and thank you for being a part of this wonderful hobby and way of life you bring honor to us all. -Jim

Wow Louise, now i know the story behind chance, after seeing the pics of her on boatalk for the past few weeks since I joined that is truly a remarkable story, and I see now why you didn't want to watch that video of the man feeding his boa live and the rat getting the best of the snake.
