Hi everyone, My name is Gabe. I am a brand new proud parent of an Argentine Black and White. I am so excited to have him, and even more so for him to get big. I have had him for about 5 days, and been worried about him up until today.

He is about a month and a half old, and I have him in a 40 gallon breeder tank with about 4 inches of jungle floor substrate. On the warm end of the tank I have a Zoo Med UVB /heat 100watt bulb, plus a full 24" UVB 7.0 running the length of the cage. For water I have a shallow water bowl, plus a small waterfall with a fogger, which helps with humidity. I just can't seem to keep the temp at the warm end above 90 degrees. Any advice, I'd be greatfull!!

My last concern is his eating. I know this is the time of the year that they naturally want to hibernate. All he eats is crickets and meal worms, and today for the first time, I gave him some scrambled eggs, and he loved them. he absolutely chowed them. He won't eat canned food, fruits, veggies or anything else. Is this normal?

P.S.____How do I post a pic of My new tegu Brutus?[/img]
