of those two i would do dicoid, hissers climb glass and have a lot of shell and fat, compared to other species. I am starting with orange heads, they stink but i like em so far. about the same size as a discoid. but more protien, due to thier protien rich diet requirments. dubia are also nice.

tropical fish flakes is a good starter as it has a very high protein content, all my roaches get fishflakes (not just the orange heads) chick starter, and a variety of fruits and veggies
