Canada Posted: Sun Oct 22, 2006 11:42 pm    Post subject: First Tegu Hey all..Well I finally got my tegu today, actually about 3 hours ago. This is my first tegu but i'm not new to reptiles as i've had beardies in the past. I've been looking for one for a while however I wasn't sure on if i wanted to have one shipped up here so I just waited and then about a week ago our local pet store got a beautiful little guy in and now I have a tegu. But yeah I am stoked about the little guy. He explored his tank a bit and basked for a while and then burrowed and passed out. So anyway I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my as of yet unnamed little guy. I'll get some pictures up after I get everything set up and him settled in. Jacob p.s. He is only about 3 months old and therefore is unsexed so I just refer to him as a male because Id rather not call him an it. I'm thinking Thor if he is infact a he or maybe Sierra if he turns out to be a her or maybe i could stick with greek mythology and call her Athena...but who knows i'm not gonna stick to anything for sure till i know what sex he is which unfortunatly will be a while casue he's still just a baby...about 3 or so months.
