the CRAZIEST day of my life!!!!!

So today was among the craziest/scariest/stressul day of my life!!!
so.. I come home from school like usual and I walk into my house and
I smell a bad stench and I go "Dad!! ewww! what reeks?!" and he goes "It's your animals! If you dont keep them under control we are going to get rid of them" which is understandable but this was no odor I have smelt. To make a long story shorter it turned out to be a chunk of ground turkey that my Blue had hid in its mulch! Has everyone ever smelt a day or two old semi wet still ground turkey? Its putrid! anywaysss.. that was only the first of a series of hectic events. The next thing I go and look for my blue, but I realize that hes not even there! I later find him exploring my house, my mom goes nuts saying again that if I cant control my animals I need to get rid of them. p.s. I still havent found my blue, but I know where he is and just cant get to him.
sooo these events made it possibly one of the worst days to pick up my 1.2, 6 year old, RHINO IGUANA breeding trio! but today was the day, and I was sure I needed these more than life. I mean it was such a good deal I couldnt pass!!! so leaving my parents somewhat pissed, I venture to go buy my rhino iguanas. yeah I had done my research for almost a year before I got them, and have studied them very intensely for the past month but I had NOOOOO clue what I was getting myself into. The guy raised them as a breeding trio, thus he has NEVER really handled them. and trust me it shows!! A wild Rhino Iguana is possibly the scariest thing I have seen. This hardly phased me... THEN. So I purchased them, not knowing what was really going to be in store for me. but when I was taking the first one out of its box into its new enclosure it somehow got out! it was running wild in my back yard and even charged me and my brother. I was scared to death. I know I might sound like a noob or a sissy, but I had to call a friend or two over just to help think of a plan to capture it. Finally got it into its enclosure an hour later, and succesfully transfered the next 2 without too much trouble. Oh mannnnn. I cant even explain it all. its just been crazy. but uhh.. I will post pics of my Rhino's soooonnn!

I remember the first day I got my colombian red tail boa. It wasn't as crazy as your story but I being used to my 4 year old bp at the time thought there would be nothing to handling a juvenile rtb. At the expo I held her for a while before making my decision to bring her home and eveerything was good. But when i got her home all hell brole loose. I opened the tub she was in to put her in her tank and she started hissing and striking at everything that moved. It was like Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde. My bp never struck at me once for the five years I had her now. My rtb didn't wanna be touched. I ain't gonna front i wa a lil nervous bout picking her up. I never gotten bit and gonna try my best not to. So I left her for a second to get a wire hanger to take her out of the tub and when I came back she was gone. Good thing I closed the room door behind me. I tore up the room looking for her and finally found her wrapped around the bottom of the bed frame near the radiator. I still had to deal with her hissing and striking but I folded the hanger into a hook and used that to pick her up. After a few days she calmed down as she got comfortable in her new home and with constant handling she tamed down alot. She doesn't strike at me when I go into her tank anymore and she allows me to handle her. She is still very active when I handle her, she's all over the place exploring but much better than when I first got her. Good luck with your rhino's.
