ok what does the poll have to do with a snake ? lol
and well I'm guessing you and your bother have no clue to what your doing, next time don't grab its tail when you go to pick it up. It will grow back but it wont' be as nice as the first, and it will make him need extra feed to supply to need for the extra growth. Now you do have UVB basking balb right, a large cage, feeding him fresh food. Water, and the right sub I hope. Iguana's might be marketed as a good first reptile but they are the furthest thing from it. So I hope you and your brother know what you have coming down the road. Can build or pay for a large enclosure, fresh food, vet bills, have fun, ask questions, and next time do alittle research.

put a lil neosporin on the tip and he'll be fine. It will grow back, like TheNero said, but it won't be very pretty or as long as it would have been. Ask some specific questions and we will be able to help you better, also, when you do a poll like that, you can't be general to specific, snakes to iguanas? it should say snakes to lizards, or ball pythons to iguanas, otherwise it's kinda hard to answer. just my two cents. -Art-
