hi every one, i am thinking about getting a blue tegu and i wanted to get as much info as i can before i get one, i was just wondering if any one could give me an example of their feeding scedule? i havent found too much info on how much to feed them a week .... just info on what to feed.. so any help would be great, thanks

you can feed crix and other insects when young and move up to mice and ground turkey. My blues have a steady diet of roaches most every day along with ground turkey mixed with fruit once or twice a week. I also give eggs once a week and fish occasionally. I pretty much let them eat as much as they want, feeding them once a day.

ok thanks, another question... where do you get ground turkey? i have seen people say they feed that but i havent ever heard of it
