i have a pair of juvenile beardies, and there has been some very strange problems. The female stopped eating, so i had to hand feed her, she wont eat other than that. She is about half the size of the male, and I got them both at the same size. She spends ALL of her time underground, she never comes up. She only comes up when I pick her up. She stays underground for weeks at a time. Sometimes she acts weird around the male and starts licking\almost biting him. What is wrong with this thing?

Time to put them in separate cages, they are not social lizards like tegus, the reason why she is not keeping up with the growth rate of the male is because she is under alot of stress for being submissive to him... they are highly territorial... the best thing to do is put them in separate cages...
