Generally speaking, if the mucous is clear or slightly cloudy and not accompanied by diarrhea or blood there's nothing to worry about. Urates are many times partially liquid also.
A healthy reptiles GI tract tends to produce quite a bit of mucous to keep things "moving" smoothly (considering their diet, they need it)
I would worry more about reptiles with decreased mucous production and dry feces, chronic dehydration is the most common problem in captive reptiles and leads to early kidney failure and several other problems.
