Anyone try this? Does quail give tegus the runs? Do they carry salmonella?

Sorry lots of Qs

I have plenty of outdoor space so I was considering raising a small quantity but only if they are relatively easy...

I have raised coturnix quail and I think they worked pretty nicely. but I only fed chicks to my tegus, never full grown. They are easy to keep and incubate. and cheap too! I think I got 100 eggs for like 19 bucks shippe
