i was wondering of it is true that columbians dont hibernate just the argentines i read this some were however the same site also mentioned that the columbians are strict carnivores and mine likes bannanas and melons any help with this greatly appreciated thanx icon_biggrin.gif

my colombian hasnt hibernated but did slow down for a while... as far as the fruit thing it seems most colombains dont like fruit too much, i used to try to trick mine into eating it by dipping it in her fav quail egg but she would spit out any fruit, now the only way i can sneak it in is hide it in turtkey balls

really ? i offered mine some banana with a few blood worms on top and he gobble it down but then again he acts totally like how people describes the argentines bot he does have the one one scale between his eye and nostril so im sure he is columbian but thanx for the help
