What are the effects of 2nd hand marijuana smoke on a lizard? Any research done in that field?

Any factual information on that besides your opinion? (unless your opinion is an observation from experience)

If one were to smoke in ones own room, (another factor would be if there are open windows in the room) where lizards are kept in glass aquariums, will the lizards get high? (assuming one is not blowing smoke directly on, or near the lizard)

and if so, does that lead to behavioral problems, like a calm happy lizard:?:

or a very hungry lizard (who may eat a hand)?

I hear that THC leaves the smoke very shortly after it has been lit, and are there other intoxicants that remain and stone your lizard?

And what about tobacco?

Thank you for your responses! and may they be educational!

Once I saw someone post on this site about smoking marijuana with their tegu, and although his post was taken negatively from the people of this site, he said it helped the tegus relax. I dont know how credible this man was because he would smoke out his tegu which I think it is a little worse to than it getting 2nd hand smoke. I am not supporting smoking with or around your animals but just relaying what I read, and I think that cigarette smoke would have alot worse 2nd hand effects than marijuana.

All right... Pot has more carcinogens than cigarettes, for one, two, smoke period harms your lizards. PERIOD. 2nd hand smoke will clog the lungs whether or not its from cigs or pot. (and don't think Im just coming down like this cuz im against smoking. Im a smoker, but i don't do it around my animals) their lungs are smaller, and can't take as much. Some snakes only have one functional lung also... just a few things to think about. Now you can do what you want with your animals, but just think about the effects that stuff has on humans, and then just think about your animals. (and for the pot, dont think about the high, think about how badly it messes up your lungs) -just my 2 cents-

IMO, the talk of illegal drugs is not needed on these forums, bottom line.

I am locking this thread; please do not bring this up again.
