i have a young (appx. 1 year old) argentine B&W tegu for sale. it was sold to me as a female. she is somewhat cage aggressive, but with regular handling she could make a great pet or breeder. she has a beautiful lavendar color on her head & neck... she is appx. 2 ft in length.

i would prefer local pick-up in the Erie, PA area, because i have never shipped an animal...but i may consider shipping at buyer's expense.
i payed $100 for her in february when she was smaller. i will consider trades or best offer...

if you have any questions please e-mail me at american_idiot_07@hotmail.com

thanks!
jessica

May I ask why you are giving her away after only about 4 months of keeping her? Is it because she's aggresive? I've had my Argentine B/W since January and he just now coming around to being calm/tame.

she is aggressive, but that is only partly the reason i am giving her up...

i don't have enough time to properly socialize her, and i dont want her to end up aggressive & homeless...

i don't want to compromise her quality of life just because i would like to have a tegu. she is an absolutely gorgeous animal, and i would love to keep her, but it isn't fair to her. she is still young & im sure someone with more time could give her plenty of attention... and she would make a wonderful pet.

I would love to take her but I just don't have $100. I just spent $68 on feeder mice/chicks for my Tegu and Monitor.

well...what if we kept in touch? if you give me your e-mail address, we could keep in touch and maybe work out some sort of a deal?... i would really like to get something out of the deal, but i would be willing to negotiate if i knew she was getting a good home...

my real goal is to find her a loving home...not to make a profit...

let me know what you think, if it sounds like a plan to you, email me at american_idiot_07@hotmail.com

thanks
jessica

I'm a very good/responsible Reptile keeper, here is a pic of Argentine B/W
I feed him every day and socialize him as well. I just love Tegus in general and love working with them. I'll PM you my email.

Im just letting you know, I don't think I'll be able to come up with $100 like that. Every single dollar I earn goes right into reptiles to keep them healthy.

My drawing is limited to stick figures. I draw mechanical things using 3D CAD (borrowed from work). Pinewood Derby cars & tools, reptile enclosures, other stuff for the house.
