I get mine from the guy soon as u walk in to the right. His name is Mike. I get 50 large mice for $24 & 10 large rats for $17........I think I'm gonna come by myself. I'll leave my whining kids & wife home.

I'll have to compare prices. I think I got 25 small rats for $25. I've got to get fuzzies, hoppers and small rats this time.

I tried leaving the wife and kids home last time. They want to see the stuff too!! The crappy food there is so expensive!!!

Yeah I get all my supplies from the show, there just great prices and I like the selection! I bought from Maxpet once but I get annoyed by the lines and the tax so now I buy from the stage guy and the guy in middle of the show with the colum of supplies and other stuff on the tables and on the floor. The food there is a killer though right!?!? I always eat before the show so I'm not tempted to eat.

I have the same exact problem icon_redface.gif !!! I've been on a streak ever since my 1st show in Sept of '05. I actually missed the last July show since I was Florida and I was sooooo Mad!!! I caught some pics of the show and it had such a mass population of Monitors and Tegus! There was a juvie Peach Throat for $100 which I surely would of grabbed! Did you guys happen to catch that show? I hope it's like that this year! icon_razz.gif

He's our second favorite guy! The lines at MaxPet are anoying. But a Zoo-Med thermostat I bought from him was defective and he sent me a new one immediately.

Our problem is we always get there 10:30-11:00 and lunch comes up real quick. The 3 kids (5, 7 & 10) get real whinny when they get hungry!

Last July was our first show. We bought our Veiled Chameleon not knowing what we were getting into. He's an ornery bastard but we like him anyway. This July should be a great show with all the new hatchlings!!!

There's not much I really have to get this show, bedding & new thermometer. I got alot of spare cage furniture from the smaller cages I just upgraded my animals from. I'm doing the less is more kinda thing in the cages. I'd like a nicely decorated cage with plants & such but they just make a mess of it all after I spent my time makin it look pretty. I'll be doing more looking @ the animals I wish I could take home.

I don't have to get much either, just some mice and a UVB bulb. I'm now thinking of getting a Dumeril Monitor though, well have to see.
I don't bother decorating as well, Tigger just digs and knocks everything apart. icon_rolleyes.gif
I'm tellin ya striggs! Try to sneak something in, what could your wife do once you already have the thing in the house? icon_lol.gif

I usually get there the same time but I always get a #6 at Mcdonalds to be sure I'm not hungry! I got a veiled last Nov, he was mild when I got him but a few months later he turned aggresive as hell! It's cool though, he's just a display animal not a touchy animal(got beardies for that!).

I don't take any sh*t from him. Sometimes we walks up to the front of the cage when I'm getting dressed in the morning and has walked out onto my hand a few times. Other times he puffs up, hisses and attempts to bite. He's just bluffing, but he puts on a good show.

My guy hates handling, when it's time to remove him to clean the cage he puts on a huge show! Then when It's time to put him back in the cage he doesn't want to go! Especially when he's on my hand, his little mitten hands have some awesome grip/pressure on them!icon_eek.gif
