The cage size is fine.

What are you using to measure the basking spot temperature?

shane if you're talking about the analog ones you need digital, analogs are garbage, a heat gun would be a good idea too

Accu-rite. Get it at Wal-Mart for about $11. I think Home Depot might have it also. Indoor/outdoor temps and humidity.
