Goliath takes Eva out on first date!!!!

This past weekend Striggs and myself met up to introduce our two future breeding couple. This is how it went at first Eva wasn't to thrilled with the blind date idea, she was "Death Rolling", and trying to take half of striggs fingers off!!! lmao...(Wish i caught it on Video, a guaranteed 5 stars on youtube!!) She even tried to make a run for it into the dense bushes that were around us in the park. She would have been lost forever had she managed to break free, but when Goliath came out, things changed. This is how it went:

Yo boo calm down, why you acting like that???

Oh I see you gonna play, "Hard to get"!!

Can I call you lata? Ya pops not gonna be mad is he???lol

Nice to meet you eva, im gonna call you lata!! Gotta find some juicy New York rats!!

Just as I thought we were getting ahead we took a few steps back. me & jim met up with our gu's and things went crazy. eva tried breaking loose when I was putting her harness & leash on. Jim had to throw a towel on her bcuz she turned around with her mouth open trying to bite anything she could. If she had got away I wouldn't have been able to catch her. GOOD LOOKIN WITH THE TOWEL JIM. Eva wasn't bothered by Goliath at all though. He walked around her sniffing her out & climbed all over her without any problems. When I got her back home she was as calm as she always is(in the house anyway). The last time I took her outside I didn't have her harness or leash on. I wonder if it was just the leash. Next time I'm going to take her out without the leash and to a wide open area so she can't run into any bushes if she does try to make a run for it.

Both you guy's have great looking tegus,and the stort was funny as well.Striggs you crack me up about eva getting crazy lol,even though i had it happen to me before without the leash and i had to grab my tegu behind the neck cause he was like a crazy fool.Jimjones your tegu is pretty big darn,well both yours are.Well good luck with the both of your tegus.

Thanx people. TokayK the harness I have for Eva is a small 8"-10" dog harness. I got it from petland. Petco has 'em also. She's growing out of her harness, I have to get her a new one soon. The kind Jim has for Goliath is a small animal leash that he got from petland also. Ameivaboy if it happens we'll definitely post pix.

Thanxs for the harness info. I sorta thought thats what they were, but I wanted to be sure.
