i would be very happy if you did that. that is why i tell her story, if it would just stop some people from live feeding.

This is an awesome story, I read it, and have showed it to some of my friends, who are also into herps. I am relatively new to the herp game(8 months) but this one post has helped me to change all of my critters to F/T.
Thanks, and congrats on such a wonderful story, and pet.

i am so happy her story got you to switch to F/T. when i read that her story helped people switch it makes me so happy!

she had a breakthrough tonight and i am on cloud nine over it icon_smile.gif

i know this will seem so trivial to other snake owners but....i fed chance again tonight and when i put the newspaper down in her cage she came flying out of her hide box and was actually waiting for her rat!!!! this has never happened in the 4 years i have had her! so i went and got the rat and put it in the cage.

then i was gonna go make a cup of tea and bring my chair in there and sit there till she ate. last feeding was the only feeding she ate all alone without me watching or holding the rat.

i made my tea and checked a thread and went in there to wait and this is what i saw!!! this is so happy and exciting to me. i think she no longer remembers the abuse she went through befor i got her. she is not scared of the rats anymore icon_smile.gif she was even waiting for her rat. i am so darn happy!!!

I don't get to read the posts a lot here but this morning I had time to read some and I LOVED this story.
It brought tears to my eyes and all I can say is BRAVO LOUISE!!!!!!

I have various lizards and they all have home made blankets and hides.I even go as far as rocking them all in the rocking chair every night.

I really need to get me some of those grandchildren I hear about. icon_lol.gif
