Since he'll be about 8" long, I'd stay away from Supers for now. Our baby (about 14" and growing!) won't eat anything that moves so I haven't tried Supers yet, but I'd cut the heads off so they don't eat him up inside. His jaws won't be strong enough to crush them. The heads are hard to digest also. I've read don't feed Supers to Bearded Dragons until they're at least 13" long. I don't know how that applies to Tegu's.

Dust the pinkies with ReptiVite (?), or similar, 2-3X per week and calcium the other days. I slit and stuff his fuzzies with Tegu Bites to give him extra nutrition since he won't eat anything but mice.

Anyone else with baby feeding ideas???
