Some of you may have read that my first tegu from Rick died in transit. Well, this is the little guy he sent me to 'replace' her (she can't be replaced and I'll always love her even though I never knew her RIP!!) Well, he arrived today and has been on a walk with me and everything! He's already started eating his crickets, meal worms, super worms, and a pinkie as well! He's very active, curious, and has a great appetite! So, here's the cutie! Oh, and he has such a cute personality! He likes to sit on people's heads and actually climbed into my shirt and fell asleep on my chest earlier. I understand though because interacting with them is so much easier when they are bigger and you can let them roam without fear of losing them and take them for walks and in the car for a ride. Also they can find you and get to you once they are bigger. Nothing makes me happier then when Rascal sees me somewhere in the room and walks over to me and tries to climb on me. Enjoy! Believe me, enjoy his small size while it lasts. I have a few bigger tegus that scramble and fight to get on top of my head. Unfortunately, this leads to my neck being clawed up, after I'm done with handling my tegus, I suffer a lot of scratches. I still love em though. _________________ Animals: Too many. Rascal loves walking around my neck and up and down my arms and I was getting a lot of scratches but now when I want to interact with him I just put on one of the shirts and have no problems with all the scratching anymore.
