I know underground reptile are selling fresh hatchlings for $450 in think for hets, and then over $1000 for albinos.
Switzer reptiles has a breeding pair of het blues. They often dont do 100% sexing on hatchlings though. I don't know if they have any eggs this season though you'd have to contact them.

Rick's website says his sold out till 2008, and the blue tegu.com has been down for awhile.
Hopefull someone else can give u a bit more info, but hey if you find a fe-male pass that info on over this way, Boscow could use a girl friend. This year just not seem like a good year for blues for some reason.

Yes it seems that the people who did have them are all sold out so maybe no Blue Tegu for me this year.
I would get a Red but I REALLY want a blue so I am gonna hold out for one.
Thanks for the info though Chelvis.

Just some advice, don't get an albino. Think about it, these animals NEED UV lighting so you would have to torture an albino, basically, to keep him alive under that UV. _________________ 1.1.0 Bearded Dragons (Damien and Miss Priss)

I did talk to Rian at Underground a little but he can't sex the blues he has right now.
I mean if I got a female and wanted a male I wouldn't give her up but a male is what I prefer.
I don't know if at this time with not many blue babies around if $450.00 seems like a reasonable price for one.

Ya its making me think about how much my one year old is worth... hum. Na could never sell him, his like a pet dog now, his even leashed trained, lol. Maybe next year will be a better year. Last year there where tons of baby blues now its like they all dissapeared or somthing.
Rian does indeed have blue tegu hatchlings available. I just spoke with him last week about them. He has possible hets and he has albinos. He also said he'll have 6 tables at Daytona this year and will have tegus there for sale for anyone that wants to come see/purchase them in person. Like I said in my post above, this is just the begining of the season for blues. There will be many more on the market in the next few months.

I dealt with Umderground 4 times total and I feel I got good deals.
Maybe I am "stupid" when it comes to buying reptiles and way too trusting but why would a business say they have Blue Tegu's babies if they don't?
I already decided the price is too high for me so I won't be getting one from them.
But if anyone hears of someone who does have Blue babies please let me know.

If you keep a sharp eye out you can deffintly find one cheaper. I got mine for $175 shipped, but i can't find the breeder anymore. Sometimes taken a chance works.
i know you probably don't want to buy one from a pet shop but last time i checked there was a blue tegu for sale at this one petshop and it was 350. if you want info on it i'm sure they can ship it out to ya. just let me know if ya need any info
