New from Bristol, UK!

Hey all,

Got my first Tegu Saturday just gone, Black and White Argentinian, I think he's wonderful and have wanted one ever since my local reptile shop had an adult one (didn't have the money at the time).

I've owned two Ranking Dragons in the past one is still with me but one past away about 6 months ago. One remaining's name is George he's only 10 inchs in size but quite an active little thing Always happy to be out and anout the living room!!

First day home he was quite content to sit in my hands and wander about the sofa while I was watching TV without running off. But since he was tried bitting and whipping his tail at me when ever my hand goes in the tank....any ideas my best guess is that he is shedding his skin??

I've only been feeding him crickets so far as he is only 10-11 inchs long...any other seggestions on things to feed him as he doesn't seem to keen on these!

Sorry about all the questions but just want him to be happy and get as settled as possible as soon as he can and want to find out the best ways to care for him etc hence why I joined to learn more than the pet shop told me and what i found out before buying!
