This may be a very stupid question but what does the number that people put before their lizard means for example 1.0.1 Argentine Tegu? Thanks

I am not 100% sure but I think the first number means male, the second number means female and the third number is unknown sex.
So if I had three Red Tegus and I knew one was a male one was a female but had one I wasn't sure of,I'd put:
1.1.1 Argentine Red Tegu
I am sure if I am wrong someone will say so.
