its been over a week after my young b+w has shed everything else, but his tail seems to be stuck on. ive tried getting his tail wet with warm water and getting my fingers wet with warm water and massaging the skin off his tail. but nothing. the skin wont budge. im 99% sure that he hasnt shed his tail. so any advice on getting this super stubborn skin off without stressing him out too much?

thanks

You can use vaseline to loosen stuck skin.

yes,it is normal for the skin of the tail to come of a few days later.leonidas (my baby bw. arg.tegu) skin of the tail usually comes of 5-7 day after he shedded the body and every thing else first.you have been doing the right thing.olive oil helps, too.good luck.
