I mix the turkey with apples that I chopped up. And thats what I feed it. Mix with fruits and suppliments. Reptiles can deal with salmonella, as can most animals. The reason us humans can't, is because we have evolved being brought up on cooked meat, and the necessary defenses are no longer there, i.e. our lack of appendix. I buy enought that will last a while and I pack them into golf ball size balls and leave them in the freezer.
