What i mean by no normals is normal in color the dragon has to be colorfull.
I am going to start breeding dragons and geckos.
If the price thats offered is a fair one i would ship. And yes it has been handled but still needs some taming he/she has a very strong feeding responce. i believe if feed in a seperate container it would get very tame once out of the enclosure it settles right down.

Nice looking Normal BW tegu, you probably won't get any bites for a trade for what your looking for though. Not to put you or your animal down, but it would not be a fair trade for the othe person. But thats just my opinion and nothing personal.
Just keep him, there is too many Dragon Breeders out there, that can not find homes for there animals. Also, if that is the case you will find that your animals will start to loose limbs from being in cage with cage mates of other beardies. Just something to keep into mind. Beardies are a LOT of work, trust me I know what I am talking about. I usually pick one pair each year to breed and by the end of the season, you have 60+ dragons to care for and feed and clean and cage. Think long and hard about your endevore first, if you think your up to the tast and financial burden, then by all means have a great time with it.
Have a good night,
Ps, Im not bashing on you, just voicing my opinion,

How would it not be a fair trade? Last i saw beardies and leos go for around the same. Grant it some are more and some are worth less i never said i wanted the highest end reptile in trade for it. I dont really need the lecture in this add. I already have my breeding pair of dragons but i want to add to my collection.
So if anybody wants a great deal on this tegu contact me and i will try to make you a great deal. thank you

I have 7 beardies in one cage, adults, and none of them have lost limbs. And if this person lived in Texas I'd trade some of them in a heartbeat, that's a goodlooking tegu he has.
Your comment sounds kinda preachy to me.

I think his comment sounded honest, and as he pointed out, his opinion alone. He wasn't telling you, one way or the other, what to do, or how to think, but rather, what he does, and what he thinks. A beardie or leopard Gecko of some fancy style, coloration or breed is going to run you far more than, what he called, a normal Tegu. You might have been ripped off in the purchase of yours, but they are not very expensive, compared to a blood-red bearded dragon, or a Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Top Baldie (gecko)
I don't know who he was, but if you just read what he said and not taken him personally, he had a lot of truth in what he was saying. _________________ The Jay
