I wouldn't recommend wrapping any animal up in a cloth of any type. Not only does this scare the animal but it could do some damage to their toes (I've seen it before). I also wouldn't recommend stressing the poor thing out by placing your finger on top of his head while his mouth is open. _________________ John Light

I would not try to force a tegus mouth shut, you could cause bone or tissue damage. Though it may not be an easy thing to do, it is still very possible to do. Becareful.
