maybe he got rug burn icon_lol.gif lol joking...
But siriously i cant see how his front legs are swollen from those pictures and his belly is only top views we got we i cant see the "rash" but from what it sounds he might have just fallen off something and landed on his belly icon_sad.gif in any case bring him to a vet asap and dont worry about your parents and the cost.

How often are you giving him clacium? Also yes he should go to a vet might run you 50-75 dollars if I had to guess. Does he have any hard bumps or lumps on his joints or back? How old are your uvb bulbs and are they at the proper distance? how old is your tegu?

Yikes! icon_eek.gif Could he have rubbed his belly raw by not using his front legs and just pushing himself along the floor? His belly looks huge, like he just ate a big meal or it is distended. Could he have gotten a heat pad burn on his belly? Please get him to the vet and let us know what happened. Hope all turns out well for you!

I'm too new to know anything!

icon_arrow.gif GET HIM TO THE VET RIGHT AWAY - a recommended one
I had a nile monitor and his one front leg swelled then the other one. the swelling on the one leg went down but the other did not and was hard as a rock. he eventually stopped eating and I was force feeding him. I took him to one vet and he said it was an abscess got the antibiotics and while I was waiting about a week I noticed a bump under his jaw and throat area. I took him to a recommended vet I learned of and he said mbd. it was too late it effected him internally icon_cry.gif
