Hi all.
Long time herper, first time tegu owner.
After a lot of reading into several different lizards, I picked up this little girl(/boy. For simplicity's sake, I'm saying girl) at the Berks show yesterday.
She's a Columbian B&W, and was the last of 8 for sale, somehow.

She appears healthy and alert, but she's awfully docile. She's active, and she can be startled by things, but when I go to pick her up she just goes completely limp, and she apparently slept straight through the night, last night.

I'm thinking she's just had a good start, as far as handling goes.

I've named her Kali, and she's eaten a tiny piece of hotdog, a superworm, a few licks of turkey/yams baby food, and half a grape.
It's so interesting to be able to offer different kinds of food!

She seems so smart. I never thought a reptile could seem so intelligent and inquisitive. I can't wait to watch her grow up![/i]
