I have 2 baby b/w right now m/f pair as far as I know. I am having someone build me one big huge cage that is super nice and will last my tegus their whole life span. My question is simple an 8X4X4 should be plenty big enough for 2 tegus right?

Ive never personally seen one, I just looked on their page. I thought they looked like they might have a leaking issue. Custom is always better.

What if i want a 4 foot tall cage though meanah? I always thought if it was me in a box I would want some head room like I do for my apartment even though I'm not climbing or jumping to the top of the wall. I mean COULD 4 ft work? My only concern at this point is the heating is going to be a pain
