hello , I found this site while looking for info on the red tegu, I lived in chile for 11 years and went to argentina every summer i also visited peru, bolivia, ecuador, brazil,colombia and a few other countries . I have to say that i never knew about these lizards until i moved back to california and saw one at an expo. I did some research and began talking to Bert alot and i purchased a red from him, he is a great man . The funny thing is he would reply to my emails in spanish . This site is amazing and the info here is so helpfull. I hope your site continues to grow.

yes he is great, Chile was a great experience. lots of cool animals alot of wierd bugs. Not a big fan of the bugs but it was really a cool place. i went back packing one summer we went camping in the patagonia, ruff part of argentina but very beautiful.

lots of things i have seen penguins on the beach, sometimes they get swept down the coast and end up in warmer waters . I have seen big spiders too but im not a fan of them.

that would be sweet, I love the outdoors and i have seen so many things . I still work with lizards, well kinda I work at Geico hahaha we have the gecko

people call and say things like, "i like that frog man" or "that little green thing i cute" Its a gecko not a frog it doesnt look anything like a frog
