For those who have outdoor pens. How deep do you embedded the side sheets into the ground? I want to make an outdoor pen for this summer for mine. Any help will be well received.

Hi Ed.We don't have a out door enclosure yet but here are some pics that I found a while back in the photo gallery.Hope it helps.I'm just wondering what to put down when you have like a out side playpen to free roam so they can't dig them selfs out.Good luck.

I use a 3 to 5 inch cement pad. I use 3 foot tall walls. I enclose the entire thing, because even though a tegu can not jump over a 3 foot wall, a tegu can easily climb up the back of another tegu that is trying to stand up against the wall.

Rick you are so right about climbing on others back! Yesterday I went back to the place where I got Juancho and they had 5 little tegus, it was really funny watching them do it over and over again! icon_razz.gif
