The only toys that I do not recommand is a mirror, it destroys the animal sociability with humans.

There are a lot of toys for them to play with that you can get at the pet store.I do not recommend putting a bird on a ficus tree because when they nibble on the bark or the leaves they can get sick because of the sap.I know not to keep them close to a vent ( they can get cold and get sick ) and not to have them around any lid candles or other fumes from cleaning supplies.I also recommend cleaning the cage with a solution of 1 part strong vinegar and 5 parts water. That will kill any bacteria and is natural not like clorax.

a few things i like to do with my birds is give them the mini rasin boxes it gives them a cheap box to trip up and a treat inside another thing i do is take cardboard tubes from the toilet paper rolls and stuff them with stuff like fruits veggies sometimes seed ball treats ect just random things then i fold over the sides of it and wham cheap bird fun he gets to rip it up and its easy to replace
