Bonjour smicky icon_biggrin.gif Accueil smicky to theTegu family icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Congrats on getting your first tegu icon_cool.gif
I have heard of tegus eating some potatoe (boiled) legume/vegetable
and he can be petite or a little grand if he has been hibernating.
for his maison use cypress mulch it holds the humidity better.

welcome and just ask anything many friendly/helpful people here icon_biggrin.gif

welcome to the forum/family. its good to see that you are doing your research before you get it. what size cage are you goin to have it in?

warm raw ground chicken, or turkey, dead mice once frozen but thawed and brought to room temp. crickets, mealworms, you will need a uvb light.

I think 6x3x2 would be alright for a small adult male or an adult female but I think a large adult male would need something slightly bigger.

It's great that your doing your research icon_wink.gif
