So i was doing one of my random weekly inspections making sure my tegu looked healthy and happy. I havent noticed any behavioral problems or anything out of the ordinary for the most part but I stumbled across my oldest tegus foot today and noticed a white residue on one hand. I tried cleaning it in warm water and it won't come off. I am finding it hard to tell if it's part of a shed gone wrong or something else. I picked at it just a little to see if it was actual shedding and it doesnt seem to flake or move at all. Also on the hand I found one single very small red spot almost like a super tiny pimple. Does anyone know what this could be? I was going to go to the vet if it didnt go away in a few days it doesnt look pussy or irritated its just a red little spot.
